CARE & NURTURE

The Longest Night Service
Date & Time: Friday, December 21, 2018 7:00 pm
Location: Canton First UMC Chapel

The holidays can be difficult when we are grieving, for grief comes in many forms. For most, a loved one who is no longer here creates a continuing sense of loss.  For those who have lost a child through miscarriage or in an untimely way, it is a sad hole never filled. The loss of a job, the young adult child who moves away, a move into a new community or situation, abilities lost through disease or aging all create a melancholy that life will never be the same.

If you carry lingering grief in your heart, please join us for the Longest Night Service. You will have an opportunity to name your grief and give thanks to God who consoles our sorrows.
