Shepherding a gift called "You" all begins with internalizing and accepting God’s Word into our hearts. As men we often hear the words, but do we really hear what He is saying to us? Do we allow our own thoughts and feelings to drive our behaviors or do we return to Him? Having these core beliefs internalized and living them out allows us to then be who He has designed us to be for those around us.
How do we lead, team, and follow? Is Christ our model? Having our leadership perspective informed in such a way that we understand how to use His model of servant leadership, teamsmanship, and followership to lead, team, and follow is a powerful way to live out our core beliefs.
A serving mental mindset will help aid us in the journey to shepherding a gift called me. Learning to lead the one in the mirror goes to the heart of leadership.
