Children enrolled in the Parents’ Morning Out Program will spend the morning playing and interacting with other children while you enjoy your “morning out.” Our PMO staff seeks to incorporate “play” with song, movement, and manipulative toys along with developmentally appropriate art activities.

Children are intentionally given opportunities to handle, manipulate, experiment and explore primarily through the use of “learning centers” in the classroom.

We use a United Methodist curriculum entitled Rock-A-Bye for our 2 year old classes. Use of this curriculum will ensure age-appropriate learning activities for children in these classes.

In our three and four year old classes, we use a Bible curriculum entitled Gospel Light’s Bright Beginnings Weekday Bible Learning for the Christian Preschool. We also use The DLM Early Childhood Program: Under Construction Beginning Math. Sequential pre-math and fine-motor skills are incorporated into weekly and monthly units of study.

Extracurricular activities include but are not limited to Music, Chapel (3’s and 4’s), Spanish (4’s), and various in-house and outside field trips (3’s and 4’s).
