MISSION TEAM: Be involved with actively outreaching to our community.
Volunteering for our missions team can mean so many different things. You can actively participate or you can help facilitate. You can get involved in one or one hundred. The sky is the limit. Getting your name on the list will get you plugged in to so many ways you can help.
WORSHIP: Be involved in all aspects from production to cleaning up.
Here you would actually be the head over an area of our mission to the community. This is a big responsibility and should not be taken lightly. However, the rewards are out of this world!
Here you would help with Sound board, computer, and EP backgrounds. We will be able to teach you all you need to know. Can you click? Then you can be a part of our team!
Putting together sets for our special seasons and for our Contemporary Worship is important. Do you have carpentry skills? Can you paint? Do you have a creative side? If you do we need you!
This team serves communion, sets up and breaks down. It is a group of people that take this seriously. Hope you will too.
Our usher team provides such an important service. They take up the offering, hand out bulletins, greet people at the door, and show people to their seat when the sanctuary is full. If you are friendly and like people this is for you!
We need people to help organize and schedule our acolytes at both Traditional services. Training is handled by others, but here you would help keep scheduling and make sure those candles stay lit!!
BREAK DOWN AND SET UP
Here you would help transition services. Moving of equipment etc.
KITCHEN TEAM: Here you would help on Wednesday nights with an array of duties.
Not glamorous, but simple.
STUDENTS: Help with all ages from 7th-12th grade.
SMALL GROUP LEADS
Small group leads help facilitate new bible studies and sunday school groups. What an incredible and awesome responsibility!
Even coordinators assist, organize and help behind the scenes during our major events for students. The more volunteers the more we can do for our students!
Be a coordinator, small group leader or work behind the scenes. All volunteers are screened and approved by our Student Lead.
Want to help with the student choir? Have a gift for music? Want to sing in our Forte group? Give it a go.
Here you would help organize and facilitate missions for our students. You can go on missions or just help get them off the ground. Either way you would be a huge help.
OLDER ADULTS: Volunteer to continue to make our senior ministry thrive and grow.
SMALL GROUP LEAD
Our Senior Adult Ministry continues to grow so we need more small group and Sunday school leaders. If you are being led, then give it a shot.
Here you would help lead, assist, and create mission opportunities for our seniors to enjoy. What a great ministry to be a part of.
Our older adults love to have fun. Be a part of that team that creates and dreams of these moments together.
CHILDREN: Be involved with the spiritual formation of our children from Nursery to 6th grade.
We need your heart that wants to rock, change, and just be with our little babies. It is a huge privilege. Only a couple of spots left for this one.
SUNDAY SCHOOL LEAD
Be a facilitator and lead a class. What a joy it is and how easy. If you love kids, have a passion for Jesus, and want to convey that then this could be the spot for you. Sherri Juliani will interview you to make sure it is a great fit.
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL VOLUNTEER
We pack them in during the summer and this year will even be bigger. Lending your heart and time to this event is so important. We hope you will.
Here you would do anything from leading, helping behind the scenes, set up, break down and a whole lot of other easy stuff.
MEMBERSHIP FACILITATION: Volunteer and help our members discover their new church home.
NEW MEMBER OUTREACH
New member outreach means we write letters, email, and organize ways to help members feel more connected. It is a group of wonderful people.
SUNDAY ATTENDANCE RECORDING
After each Sunday we take all the member/visitor cards and separate them so that our card writing team can write the appropriate letters on Monday. Doesn't take long, but it is so important.
PLAN YOUR VISIT LEAD
We get many through the internet that wish to visit our church. Be a part of that team that helps those visitors find their place on Sunday morning. It is so easy and what a gift to those meeting us for the first time.
MEN'S MINISTRY: Help this team plan, create and grow opportunities for men to discover Jesus.
BIBLE STUDY LEAD
CHURCH MAINTENANCE CREW
Our church maintenance crew will help do odds and ends on our church property that we don't wish to contract out to another company. Here is a chance to showcase your DIY skills!
WOMEN'S MINISTRY: This is a growing ministry that is fun and Holy Spirit filled.
BIBLE STUDY LEAD
We are looking for women to step up and help others know the Word of God. This is not hard, but requires some leadership skills. We hope you will pray about how God is leading you!
So much can be done for our women and even coordinators help do just that. From fellowship time to organizing speakers, this is a great way to help behind the scenes with so much that the women of CFUMC can enjoy.
HOSPITALITY: This team is so important, because it is the first impression that counts.
Greeters have one purpose, and that is to be friendly, say "hello", and to help people find their way. What an incredible group that helps so many people call this home.
PARKING LOT CREW
This group helps people find that all precious park without circling around and around. What a confident feeling for people to meet our parking lot crew each and every Sunday.
This team helps those who have faced the death of a loved one. From meals to general assistance this teams helps those that are dealing with tremendous loss. What a blessing these people are.
ELIJAH PROJECT (HELPS REACH OUT TO THOSE IN NEED)
This group will assist those with basic home maintenance and upkeep due to illness or tragedy. How important it is to know there are people that care.
OFFICE ADMINISTRATION: This team helps with day to day operations in our office.
This group helps answer our phones throughout the week. Join us...the office is always hopping!
This team will put together bulletins and other special brochures during the week. It's simple, easy and doesn't take a lot of time.
WEEKLY OFFERING COUNTERS
The money that we count is done by special people each week. Join a great group that cares about this church.
MUSIC: You can join many of our music groups. Check them out.
This group sings at 11:00 a.m. and is such a great group of people. Don Stafford leads and is amazing. If you have a heart to sing then come join us.
Mary Diesch has created Forte Student Choir and this group rocks. Come and be a part of it.
Connie Walker continues to grow this great program. Get your kids involved now.
PRAISE TEAM MUSICIAN/VOCALIST
Dean Balkwill is lights out, but is always looking for people that wish to fill in. Just give us a shout. We can't guarantee anything, but you never know.
HAND BELL TEAM
Becky Welsh leads this group of ringers and they are good. So if you hand bell this is the place for you.
The dulcimers are wonderful and actually travel and play for many groups. Come and be a part of a great group of people.

PRAYER TEAM: Actively pray at the church over those that are sick and in need.
Being a part of the prayer team means many things. Fielding the prayer cards. Actively praying. Then sending a prayer note to the person in need. What a rewarding experience.
