CAREGIVER GROUPS

Are you caring for a family member or friend who can no longer care for themselves? If so, you might be interested in joining one of our Caregiver groups at Canton First. There are two groups: one for men and one for women.

Time is spent taking a break from responsibilities with our loved one while sharing resources that are helpful. Each person is invited to share as much or as little as you choose about your situation. Sometimes we tell a few jokes because most need a laugh.

The groups meet on a regular basis. You do not need to be a member of the church to participate.

For more information, call Susan Brown, Minister of Congregational Care at 770-721-5225.

8th Annual Care Partners’ Conference, September 21, 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM. You are invited to the Care Partners’ Conference sponsored by the Dementia Ministry of Due West UMC. This conference offers help, hope and dementia education to those caring for a loved one. Space is limited and registration is required.
